Our Stay at Fontainebleau Las Vegas: Views, Vibes & One Unforgettable Meal

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Vegas that offers resort-style luxury and top-tier amenities without being right in the middle of the Strip’s nonstop hustle, we highly recommend the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. It’s located on the quieter north end, near Resorts World and Circus Circus, which gives it a slightly more relaxed feel while still being close enough to the action.

We had an amazing experience and are already looking forward to going back. We booked through GovX and scored a great deal, which included a $50 daily food and beverage credit that didn’t go to waste.

Our king room with a pool view exceeded expectations. Even facing the pool, we still had a partial view of the Strip. The room itself felt spacious, modern, with a clean, elegant design. One of our favorite features was the large walk-in shower.

When it came to entertainment and amenities, Fontainebleau delivered across the board. The property features a variety of bars and lounges, a great mix of restaurants ranging from upscale dining to convenient quick bites, and a well-equipped fitness center, which Matt especially appreciated.

The pool and beach club scene is another standout. Oasis Pool is perfect for relaxing in the sun during the day while still soaking in Vegas energy. For something livelier, LIV Beach has an upbeat and elevated beach club vibe. Whether you’re in the mood to lounge or jump into a full pool party, Fontainebleau offers the best of both.

And while everything about the property impressed us, the dining scene deserves a special mention. The hotel is home to several standout restaurants, with Cantina Contramar being the highlight of our entire trip, easily one of the most memorable meals we’ve had in Vegas. Stay tuned for a separate blog all about our experience there on opening night!
